Universities Are Preparing for Back-to-the-Classroom Outbreaks of Swine Flu

The general summation of this article is that if the swine flu becomes a problem most colleges will send students home. No mention is made preparations for or what to do about foreign students or others that may not have that option due to travel restrictions instituted due to a pandemic.
We were put on this earth to help and take care of one another.

At least some students on my campus are taking this seriously. I'm seeing antibacterial gel, people sneezing into their elbows, and when I discussed this the first day of class, everything was serious (except when I made my porkchop joke :-), and the two students that we have with h1n1 are self-quarantined. (The university also has a quarantine plan available when/if necessary.) I overheard a student conversation yesterday where one said, "Well, it's started!"
