PONTIANAK--Ruang Isolasi Flu Burung RSUD dr Soedarso, Selasa (29/6), kembali menerima pasien diduga suspect flu burung. Tak tanggung-tanggung, kali ini empat pasien langsung masuk ruang isolasi, setelah sebelumnya dilakukan pemeriksaan di ruang IGD.
Pasien tersebut adalah Ardian, Wenti Pratiwi, Audina dan Ari.“Semua pasien adalah anak-anak di bawah 10 tahun. Mereka masuk sekitar siang tadi, secara berturut-turut dengan selang waktu yang tak terlalu lama. Sehingga saat ini ada lima pasien ditambah dengan yang kemarin masuk,” ujar dr. Salam, Ketua Tim Dokter penanganan flu burung RSUD dr. Soedarso, kepada Pontianak Post, kemarin (29/6).
Menurut Salam, saat tiba di rumah sakit, kondisi pasien sudah tidak wajar. Hasil pemeriksaan sementara menunjukkan suhu tubuhnya sangat tinggi, disertai batuk dan pilek.
Selain itu, setelah mendengar cerita dari pihak keluarga dimana terjadi ayam mati mendadak disekitar tempat tinggalnya, maka pasien langsung di pindahkan ke ruang isolasi. Meskipun kondisi cukup baik, pihaknya tetap melakukan tindakan memasukkan ke ruang isolasi flu burung, sampai diketahui kebenarannya.
“Melihat gejala yang dialami, kami pun memutuskan membawa pasien ke ruang isolasi. Karena ini merupakan tindakan pencegahan penularan virus. Selain itu agar tim dapat melakukan pemeriksaan selanjutnya,” jelas Salam.
Selain dimasukkan ke ruang isolasi, pasien juga diberikan penanganan awal, dengan diberikan obat antibiotik, penurun panas dan Tamiflu yang mengandung oseltamivir. Sampai saat ini pihaknya masih terus memantau perkembangan pasien.
Pengambilan sampel darah serta swap (lendir tenggorokan) telah dilakukan bersama Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi. Sampel segera dikirim ke Laboratorium Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kementerian Kesehatan (Balitbangkes) Depkes RI untuk memastikan positif atau tidaknya terjangkit virus H5N1.
Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pontianak, Multi Juto Bhatarendo membenarkan empat warga Pontianak masuk ke RSUD Sudarso. “Mereka demam dan dirujuk ke sana karena ada riwayat ayam mati mendadak di lingkungannya,” ujar Multi tadi malam.Keempat pasien ini rujukan dari RS Bhayangkara, Puskesmas Purnama dan Karya Mulya.
“Tindakan rujukan ke RSUD Soedarso sudah tepat. Namun untuk istilah suspect belum tepat. Karena harus dibuktikan dengan hasil pemeriksaan unggas di sekitarnya,” kata Multi.Ia menambahkan saat ini Dinas Pertanian, Perikanan, dan Kehutanan Kota Pontianak terus melakukan sosialisasi. “Kami juga terus berkoordinasi dengan instansi terkait.
