Badung, Bali – Locals developed flu symptoms, following to bird flu outbreak in chickens in Banjar Pegending and Banjar Pengilingan, Desa Dalung, Kecamatan Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung.
Up to present moment, Health Service hasn’t conducted any examination to the people in those areas. “We don’t know if the illness caused by bird flu virus or only because of seasonal transition, but Health Service should investigate this,” said of Communication Forum (FK3D) of Badung, I Ketut Haryono.
According to FK3D record, dozens of people developed flu symptoms post H5N1 outbreak in chickens in those area. Sick people have been asked to get medical help to Sanglah hospital.
Meanwhile, chickens depopulation is still continuing.
