A 23-year-old Vimannagar resident succumbed to the H1N1 influenza on Saturday, taking the swine flu death toll in the city to 243.
According to Uddhav Gavande, deputy director of the state health services, Manish Singade, who was suffering from chronic kidney failure, developed symptoms of the flu since June 1. He was admitted to the isolation ward of the Inlaks and Budharani hospital on June 6. His condition deteriorated, and died on June 12 at 6.15 pm.
