    Death toll due to diarrhoea has risen to 13 in the Aamamora-Odh village. The villagers are in constant fear owing to the deaths of diarrhoea as the disease is spreading fast.

    Officials said till now people including Ganeshi Bai, Budhram, Itwari, Pila Bai, Sumer Singh, Budhyarin Bai, Shyamlal, Chaitlal, Binda Bai, Dukh Bai, Punni Bai, Baman and a five-year-old child have succumbed to the disease.

    Collector Dileep Vasnikar, SP Ramgopal Garg and SDM GP Chaudhary reached Amamora village on bikes as the village surrounded by dense forest falls into the Maoist affected area. The officials of health department also reached the village in security cover of State police forces.

    Reports said that outbreak of diarrhoea spread due to drinking water from ?Jharia? (open stream of water ). As the water flowing out of various hand pumps installed at the village was contaminated, the villagers were forced to drink water of Jharia.
