Four people dead due to food poisoning near Tasgaon

Sangli, May 23 (PTI) Four persons of a family died due to suspected food poisoning at Biranwadi village in the district, police said today.

The deaths occurred last night during a family function in the village, which is 22 km from Tasgaon town.

Four others have been admitted to the Sangli Civil Hospital in a critical condition

The deceased have been identified as Ajay Arvind More (16), Sonam Pratap Amte (15), Yashoda Mahadev More (70) and Niwas Mahadev More (45).
