VARANASI: Cases of chicken pox are on the rise as the changing weather conditions are proving conducive for the onslaught of the communicable disease.
As many as four fresh cases were reported at DDU government hospital and SPG divisional hospital on Thursday, the reports of paediatric ward of SPG Hospital indicate that more than a dozen cases of chicken pox have been been reported in the last 10 days. Similarly, the student health centre complex of Banaras Hindu University has reported over two dozen cases among students in the last one-and-half month.
It may be mentioned that a number of BHU students have fallen victim to chicken pox in the last two years and the onslaught has already witnessed establishment of a homeopathy clinic at the centre...
