According to NGOs, the death of 2 million children a year could be prevented if malnutrition was fought. The document also said that while hunger has been reduced over the past two decades, at least six countries most affected - five are in Africa and the sixth is North Korea.
From the data of the organization, the African countries - Congo, Burundi, Comoros, Swaziland and Ivory Coast - have the worst data on hunger in the world since 1990. The opposite occurs in Kwait, Turkey, Malaysia and Mexico, that have moved forward and recorded improvements.
