Las UCI espa?olas atienden a un millar de enfermos por el virus
TARRAGONA, 24 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -
Las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) espa?olas atienden a un millar de enfermos con gripe A en sus instalaciones, seg?n se?al? hoy el coordinador europeo del registro de gripe A y jefe del Servicio de Medicina Intensiva del Hospital Joan XXIII de Tarragona, Jordi Rello, que padeci? el virus la semana pasada.
En declaraciones a Europa Press, Rello explicit? que la mitad de los enfermos ingresados, todos mayores de 14 a?os, llegaron las dos ?ltimas semanas al hospital, lo que guarda consonancia con la mayor expansi?n del virus en todas las comunidades aut?nomas espa?olas.
De hecho, "no hay ninguna UCI del pa?s que no haya tenido ingresado a ning?n paciente cr?tico por culpa del virus", a?adi?. Respecto a la evoluci?n del virus, previ? que en las pr?ximas cuatro semanas seguir? expandi?ndose con un m?s contagios entre adultos, tras el 'boom epid?mico' en ni?os.
La semana pasada 27 nuevas muertes por gripe A elevaron a 115 el n?mero de fallecidos por la pandemia en Espa?a hasta la semana el 8 al 14 de noviembre, periodo en el que se registraron unos 155.051 nuevos contagios [s?ndrome de gripe] , 9.938 m?s que la semana anterior, seg?n datos del Ministerio de Sanidad y Pol?tica Social.

Intensive Care Units (ICU) Spanish serve a thousand patients with influenza A in their facilities as the European coordinator said today the registration of influenza A and Chief of Intensive Care Medicine Hospital of Tarragona Joan XXIII, Jordi Rello, who suffered by the virus last week.
Speaking to Europa Press, Rello specified that half of their inpatients, aged over 14 years, came to the hospital the last two weeks, a drop commensurate with the increased spread of the virus in all Spanish regions.
In fact, "there is no ICU in the country which has not entered any critically ill patient because the virus," he added. Concerning the evolution of the virus, predicted that in the next four weeks will continue to expand with more infections among adults, after the boom epidemic 'in children.
Last week 27 new flu deaths raise to 115 the number killed by the pandemic in Spain until the week 8 to 14 November period in which there were some 155,051 new infections [Syndromic ILI], more than 9938 last week, according Data from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy.
