Four kids fall ill, one dies of viral infection in Voronezh region

VORONEZH, March 10 (Itar-Tass) - Four children fell ill and one child died as a result of an outbreak of a viral infection at a kindergarten in Russia?s Voronezh region, senior aide of the regional prosecutor, Mikhail Usov, told Tass on Wednesday.
This happened on March 2, but the incident has been made public only on Wednesday. An emergency report on a viral infection at the Rodnichyok kindergarten came from the infectious disease ward of a hospital in the town of Semiluki. Medics hospitalised four children, but failed to save the life of a three-year-old boy.
The prosecutor?s office of Semiluki looks into the situation.
