Romania registers 92nd swine-flu fatality

Romanian health officials announced today (Tues) the number of swine flu fatalities had risen to 92.
The total number of confirmed cases is 6,218 infections, as seven deaths and 41 new infections have been reported over the past 24 hours.
Health Ministry Secretary of State Adrian Streinu-Cercel and other ministry officials began check-ups with family physicians today to see how the vaccination campaign against the AH1N1 flu virus was unfolding.
The vaccination campaign began at the end of last November last, when 1,340,000 doses of vaccine were released.
The vaccination is free and available to all individuals older than 16.
