Ministry of Health purchased 1 million doses of influenza vaccine for the immunization of persons at high risk of disease
Free annual influenza vaccination campaign of the Ministry of Health begins this week at the national level.
Ministry of Health ănătăţii acquired 1 million doses of influenza vaccine for the immunization of persons at high risk of disease.

"Distribution of vaccine doses to public health departments is done in two stages. In the first step we have made available to public health departments a total of 500 000 doses they deliver family doctors offices and health units to begin immunizations. The remaining doses of vaccine will be distributed by the end of this month to continue vaccination. Ministry of Health allocated immunization campaign budget 2012-2013 season similar to last year and 11 million lei. " said public health experts from the Ministry of Health.
Free vaccination campaign in the Ministry of Health will be immunized, especially, people aged over 65 years with chronic diseases, especially respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, children and the elderly in institutions, medical personnel and pregnant as recommended by WHO and ECDC.
As every year, the Ministry of Health campaign will run through family doctors' offices and hospitals with beds.
Ministry of Health advises people that in this period with frequent temperature fluctuations, listen to the advice of doctors, observe rules of hygiene to avoid illness.
According to data reported by the National Center for Communicable Disease Surveillance at week 5 to 11 November 2012, the total number of cases of respiratory infections is 77,275 1.6% more than last week.
Q n Romania respiratory virus diseases activity is of low intensity, without geographical spread without significant upward trend.
