Macedonia?s fourth flu-related victim is a 55 year-old woman, who in the last 13 days had been critical and was put on respiratory machine, Health ministry said.
The patient had been hospitalized two weeks ago with severe bronchopneumonia, high fever, heavy breathing and signs of septic shock.
In just a few hours the patient had been put on a respiratory machine, which kept her alive up till today.
She was treated with antiviral therapy, combined with antibiotic therapy and she was given plasma, erythrocyte, insulin and bronchodilators.
