Within days, several people in Germany died of swine flu. Experts advise urgently to prevent a vaccination.
In Lower Saxony, once people have died from the swine flu. A 58-year-old woman from Brunswick died on Monday of the disease, as said a spokesman for the Lower Saxony Ministry of Health in Hanover, citing a spokesman for the city of Braunschweig. In women no medical history were known. On 22 January was reported to have died a 49 year old woman from Hildesheim in connection with influenza. The woman had suffered from various pre-existing conditions, it said.
On Monday it was revealed that is to be deplored in Brandenburg, the first victim of the swine flu this season. A nine-year-old from Schwedt died from the disease. She was not vaccinated against influenza. In the last flu season, there were seven deaths.
