Denmark officially confirmed on Friday the first H1N1 virus infection diagnosis. The existence of the swine flu virus was made public by Else Smith, manager of the Health and Prevention Center, quoted by Reuters. The patient returned from New York April 29, with Continental-flight CO122N which landed in Kastrup Airport at 7.35 AM danish time.

The patient show mild symptoms
The person sitting in seats in front and behind the infected passenger will be treated with antivira, health authorities said at the press conference.
All other passangers will be contacted to be informed that an infected person was a passanger and they will be told to contact authorities if they get symptoms.

swine flu, the National Health Board said, making it the 12th
country to which the virus has spread.

The three persons who are infected with H1N1 also known as influenza A, are from the southern part of Denmark. All three are in treatment and well, according to the Syddanmark.
It was Wednesday found a total of three new cases of H1N1 also known as Influenza A in Denmark. Region Syddanmark disclose today that the three cases all come from Region Syddanmark. It argued that the three are all treated and well.

Health authorities in Denmark are now raising preparedness against influenza H1N1 to level 6, which is the highest level of preparedness, because of contagion.
The disease is found in more than 100 countries, and in this country is a total of 63 cases of influenza H1N1 diagnosed so far.
Health advises that it has changed its approach to tackling the disease.
Future efforts will focus on treatment of the persons who are at risk and preventive treatment to people at risk.
The very first cases of the disease was found in mid-March in Mexico. Since mid-April, there are reported cases in an increasing number of countries, and 11 Jun WHO declared the outbreak of a worldwide epidemic (pandemic).
