However, the surprises for buyers did not end there. A number of media outlets immediately report that chicken is no longer available in stores.

So, it almost disappeared from the shelves in Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Samara and Ulyanovsk. Similar signals are also coming from the capital.

However, Sverdlovsk authorities have already explained the disappearance of the chicken. The reason is the January holidays: the meat was simply sold out and has not yet been delivered. The Chelyabinsk Regional Ministry of Agriculture reported that there are no problems with the supply of chicken at all.
