The men are all being treated at Italy's premier infectious disease hospital, the Spallanzani in Rome, it said.
The latest two cases are linked to case zero, it said.

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 23 - The number of Italian monkeypox cases has risen to four after the South-East Tuscany health authority said a 32-year-old man who returned to Arezzo on May 15 from a holiday in the Canary Islands had the disease.
He is being treated at Arezzo's San Donato hospital.
It is the first case in Tuscany.
Three other men are being treated at Italy's premier infectious disease hospital, the Spallanzani, in Rome.
The first Italian case of monkey smallpox, or monkeypox, also regarded a man who had recently returned from a stay in the Canary Islands...
Five infections have now been confirmed in Rome, as well as one in Tuscany and one in Lombardy, Italian health authorities said.

The total number Italian monkeypox cases rose to seven on Wednesday as a new case was reported by the Spallanzani hospital for infectious diseases in Rome.
Spallanzani is treating six cases: five found in Lazio and one in Tuscany, while the Sacco Hospital in Milan is treating one patient from the Lombardy region.

The total number of Italian monkeypox cases rose to ten on Thursday with the discovery of the first case in the Emilia-Romagna region.
There have now been five cases detected the Lazio region, which are being treated in Rome, plus three in Lombardy, and one each in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna.

“There is no alarm, but the infection surveillance system is at a state of maximum attention,” Lazio’s regional health councillor Alessio D’Amato told the Ansa news agency after the seventh case was reported on Wednesday.

The woman, who lives at Levante Ligure, is believed to be either the tenth or 11th Italian case of the pox, ANSA reports.

MILAN — Cases of monkeypox in Italy have risen to 20 and are set to increase further in the coming days, the country’s deputy health minister said on Wednesday.
“We have 20 cases in Italy, 19 are all people who have traveled where there has been a chain of contagion and perhaps – this has not yet been confirmed – only one case occurred as a second contagion,” Pierpaolo Sileri told Rai Radio 1.
“There is an incubation period of a couple of weeks, it is clear that we will have more in the coming days,” he added...

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 26 - Italian monkeypox cases have risen by 26 to 740 in the last three days, the health ministry said in its latest update Friday.
Some 201 are linked to trips abroad, the ministry said.
Males are almost all the cases, 730, with just 10 women infected.
The average age of cases is 37.
There have been no deaths from the pox in Italy, but an Italian tourist has died in Cuba, the first case on the Caribbean island.
Among Italy's regions, the highest number of cases is Lombardy with 318, the ministry said.
It is followed by Lazio with 136, Emilia Romagna (75), and Veneto (50).
Only Basilicata, Calabria, Molise, Umbria and Val d'Aosta have reported no cases.
The Italian embassy in Havana is assisting the family of the Italian who died of monkeypox on the island.
He was named as Germano Mancini, 50, commander of a Carabinieri barracks at Scorze' near Venice, and originally from Pescara in Abruzzo.
Mancini had been on Cuba since August 15 and was taken ill three days later...
