    Human cases: 5052 notified cases with 2806 discarded, 1119 suspected, and 1128 confirmed cases with 331 YFV associated fatalities reported by Brazil MOH as of 12 April; the number of confirmed cases remained lost identical with one new confirmed cases and YFV associated deaths decreased in numbers compared to previous EW. In Non-Human Primate (NHP), 6154 notified cases with 1338 discarded, 1999 suspected, 704 confirmed and 2113 "not determined" cases have reported by Brazil MOH as of 12 April, with numbers increasing. As in the previous season, the southeast with Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo is the mostly affected area. Compared to the 2016-2017 YFV season, the number of confirmed cases and YFV associated fatalities is higher in the 2017-2018 when compared to EW 14/2017 although the number of suspected cases is lower in the 2017-2018. The mortality rate varies between 16.7% and 100% (average:41.46%).
