Yellow Fever Virus in Brazil 2017-2018: data as of 23 Jan per Brazil MOH/WHO
Human cases: 470 notified, 290 discarded, 145 suspected, and 35 confirmed cases with 20 YFV associated fatalities reported by WHO/Brazil MOH as of 23 Jan; Non-Human Primate (NHP) cases: 2442 notified, 467 discarded, 747 suspected, 411 confirmed and 817 "not determined" cases reported by Brazil MOH as of 23 Jan. As in previous season, the southeast is mostly affected.
