أكد مركز معلومات مجلس الوزراء في أحدث تقرير له ارتفاع الواردات المصرية من القمح خلال الثلاثين عاماً الأخيرة من 2 مليون طن في العام إلي 7.3 مليون بنسبة زيادة 143% في حين بلغت نسبة الزيادة 46% خلال عام 2005 مقارنة بعام .2000
The IDSC report in the latest rise in imports of Egyptian wheat during the last thirty years of 2 million tons per year to 7.3 million, a rise of 143%, while the rate of increase of 46% during 2005 compared to .2000 أشار إلي أن مصر جاءت في المرتبة الثانية بين دول العالم المستوردة للقمح عام 2005 في حين كانت في المرتبة السابعة عام 2000 وقد ظلت السوق الأمريكية تستحوذ علي النصيب الأكبر من الواردات المصرية من القمح في الفترة من عام 1995 حتي 1999 إلا أن هذا النصيب انخفض خلال السنوات الخمس الأخيرة إلي 20.1% عام 2007 مقارنة ب 93.2 في عام .1995
He noted that Egypt was ranked second among the world's importer of wheat in 2005 2000 1995 1999 but this share declined during the past five years to 20.1% in 2007 compared with 93.2 in .1995 أوضح أن خريطة الواردات المصرية من القمح اختلفت في الفترة من 2002 حتي 2007 وذلك بظهور دول جديدة تستورد القمح مثل روسيا الاتحادية والتي بلغت الأهمية النسبية لها 32.2% واستراليا بنسبة 9.7% وفرنسا بنسبة 5.1% وكندا 3.1%.
The map of Egyptian imports of wheat varied from 2002 to 2007 and the emergence of new wheat imports such as Russia, which reached the relative importance to 32.2%, and Australia at 9.7%, France by 5.1%, Canada 3.1%. وبينما تعد الصين من أهم الدول المنتجة للقمح في العالم بإنتاج يبلغ 15.8% من إجمالي الإنتاج العالمي إلا أن صادراتها لا تمثل سوي 0.2% من إجمالي الصادرات العالمية في حين تعد الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية من أهم الدول المصدرة بنسبة 22.1% من إجمالي الصادرات العالمية في حين يمثل إنتاجها 9.5%.
While China is one of the most important producing countries in the world for wheat production of 15.8% of the total global production, however, exports represent only 0.2% of total world exports, while the United States of America is one of the most important exporting countries by 22.1% of the total world exports, while a production 9.5%. أشار مركز المعلومات إلي ارتفاع متوسط الأسعار العالمية للقمح بنحو 102.6% خلال الفترة من يناير 2007 حتي فبراير الماضي وسجل شهر فبراير أعلي متوسط سعر للقمح.
Information Center pointed out that the average world prices of wheat by 102.6% during the period from January 2007 until last February, the month of February and recorded the highest average price of wheat.
