UNICEF: 1 child out of 7 dies before age of five in S Sudan

The Head of UNICEF in Southern Sudan, Yasmin Ali Haque, said in a press statement at Geneva on Wednesday that high mother mortality rates, hunger, malnutrition and malaria are the cause. She also stressed that child immunization in Southern Sudan is the lowest in the world.
