Police Probe Medical Tech's Death in Nassau County, NY
I'm not clear from reading the story as to how the county health department can be certain this is not contagious if they don't know what caused the death.

Nassau County police are investigating whether an advanced medical technician who died of a bacterial infection contracted that illness while at work...
