United States withdraws 27 000 kilos of meat at Walmart and Sam's Club containing E.coli

The U.S. health authorities have removed more than 27 000 kilos of ground beef sold in large supermarkets, Walmart and Sam's Club across the country, announced the local station WTOP.
The meat company National Beef Packing based in the town of Dodge City, decided to withdraw batches of meat were produced 23 and July 25 after detecting bacteria in a routine health inspection was performed.
So far no casualties have been reported, but the Department of Agriculture announced the recall of this product, as it could be E. coli, a potentially deadly bacteria.
E. coli can cause bloody diarrhea, dehydration and in severe cases affect kidney function.
Remarkably, last June an outbreak of E.coli in Europe caused more than thirty dead in Germany.
