Eight cases of West Nile reported in state

So far this year, eight cases of West Nile virus have been reported to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, the department said Friday.
The numbers included three men and five women from Colfax, Scottsbluff, Lancaster, Valley, Cheyenne, Douglas, Sarpy and Burt counties.
This is identical to the number of cases reported last year at this time, according to HHS.
