    LAHORE - A city dweller with symptoms of the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (congo fever) died on Tuesday.
    ...
    It was first death caused by the Congo fever in Punjab; however, the provincial health department has not so far confirmed diagnosis and today\'s death officially.

      Health concern: Congo virus confirmed in two patients

      PESHAWAR: Two patients who tested positive for Congo virus were admitted to Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) on Monday.

      An HMC official confirmed 39-year-old Basmena Bibi from Wazir Bagh was brought to HMC and kept in the isolation ward. Abdul Muhammad, 32, from Waziristan was also admitted with symptoms of the virus.

      The official informed both patients were tested at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. The woman was later shifted to Islamabad for further treatment.

      Another patient, Rafiullah, was admitted to Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) with symptoms of Congo virus, but was discharged after he tested negative...

        LAHORE: A patient succumbed to Congo virus here on Thursday, increasing the death toll to three, Geo news reported.

        The health department has confirmed the death toll.
