    MIGORI, Kenya, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- A suspected cholera outbreak in Western Kenya has left at least seven people dead and 80 in critical condition, a medical official confirmed Tuesday.

    Migori County Health Director Joseph Gondi said three victims died at a sub-district hospital and four others died at home while waiting to be taken to hospital...

      Kenya: Four Dead, 37 in Hospital Over Kibera Cholera

      FOUR people from Kibera slum have died following a cholera outbreak. They died at Mbagathi District Hospital on Tuesday.

      The hospital's chief executive officer, Andrew Suleh, said 37 patients, including children, are admitted at the hospital.

          Kenya: Cholera Death Toll Has Hit 50, Says Health CS

          THE government is struggling to contain the spiralling cholera outbreak, which has so far killed about 50 in four months.

          The Health ministry says 10 counties have been hit by the killer disease, with about 2,520 cases being reported.

          "As of May 11, 2,520 cases and 50 deaths had been reported nationally," Health Cabinet Secretary James Macharia said in a statement yesterday.

          The Ministry report indicates that the counties with the highest death tolls are Nakuru (14), Migori (12) and Nairobi (11)...
