Some 459 cases of measles have been recorded in Mali since the beginning of January, in the regions of Sikasso, Kayes, Koulikoro, Ségou, Mopti and the District of Bamako, said Tuesday, Dr Cheick Amadou Tidiane Traoré, Director General of Health and Public Hygiene.
“Since the start of 2022 to date, we have recorded 459 measles cases. By the grace of God but also with the vaccination activities, we have not recorded any cases of death. Zero deaths has significant value when it comes to vaccination and when it comes to measles,” explained the same source.
