    The Marion County Health Department has alerted local hospitals and health care providers to be on the lookout for measles cases, citing a confirmed case in the area.

    The notice was dated Friday. It reads that a child with measles was seen in the Silverton Hospital emergency department on Jan. 12 and was transported to a Portland hospital.

    Other people in the same household also experienced symptoms of measles starting in late December, the document reads...
