Students at Clear Water Academy possibly exposed to measles

CALGARY ? Officials are warning parents and children who visited Clear Water Academy a week ago that they may have been exposed to measles.
Alberta Health Services is cautioning those who were in Keller Hall during the school day on January 28, 29 and 30th to check their immunization records and watch for signs of the illness.

Following confirmation of a case of measles in a resident, and subsequent identification of two additional probable cases of measles, both in Central Zone residents, Alberta Health Services is advising the public of potential exposures to measles disease in multiple central Alberta locations.

Camrose residents exposed to measles disease

...Alberta Health Services(AHS) sent out a health advisory Feb. 19th alerting the public to potential exposures of the highly contagious disease in the Camrose area.
On Feb. 1st an individual carrying the disease visited the Camrose Community Centre Field House, Humpty?s Restaurant, Subway (6800 48th Ave.) and Tim Hortons (6602 48th Ave.).
The release said anyone who attended any of those locations on Feb. 1 may have been exposed to the disease, but AHS medical officer of health Dr. Digby Horne was quick to add that residents shouldn?t be worried about attending any of these locations now...

Alberta Health Services is expected to release more details on two confirmed cases of measles where one of the cases has affected a Calgary high school student.
Officials say the other case is related to the first, but is not travel-related.
Parents and students at Western Canada High School, the affected facility, are being warned to watch for flu-like symptoms which could indicate an early case of the disease...
... This is the second time this year Western Canada High School has been affected by measles.
The confirmed cases are the fifth and sixth in the City of Calgary this year...

In a health advisory, Alberta Health Services has confirmed a single case of measles in Edmonton and are advising of potential exposures.
Individuals who were at two locations on Edmonton's west end on March 25 or 26, 2014 may have been exposed.
AHS says that people who were at the West End Registries, located at 10011 - 170 St, between 7:40 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., and at Callingwood Safeway, 6655 - 178 St, between 8:30 p.m. to 10:50 p.m. on March 25 may have been exposed.
Additionally, Edmontonians may have been exposed if they were at the West End Registries on March 26, between 7:40 a.m. and 8:40 p.m...
People in Red Deer may have been exposed to a probable case of measles, according to Alberta Health Services.
Officials are warning of possible exposure for people who were at the following locations. They may be at risk for developing measles:
Real Canadian Superstore, including Horizon Family Medicine (5016 - 51 Ave. Red Deer) ? March 26, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Village Mall Medical Clinic (#22 6320 - 50 Ave., Red Deer) ? March 27, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.; March 30, 2014, from noon to 4 p.m.
Dynalife laboratory (#101 5002 - 55 St., Red Deer) ? March 28, 2014, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m...
