Bootle mum calls for new vaccine after four-week-old son died from whooping cough

A LIVERPOOL mum wants to campaign for a new vaccine after whooping cough killed her baby.
Jennifer Munro, 26, from Bootle, lost her son Lewis to the childhood illness when he was just four weeks old ? before vaccination is offered.
The cause of his death remained a mystery until a post- mortem identified the disease.
Ms Munro ? who is mum to four-year-old Conor ? now hopes to campaign for research into a vaccine for pregnant mums, to protect newborns.....
