The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an upper respiratory tract infection outbreak affecting 28 students and four staff at a Tsuen Wan pre-school for children with intellectual disability.

The 21 men and 11 women, aged two to 40, came down with fever, cough, runny nose and sore throat from June 13 to 20. Of them, 25 consulted general practitioners or outpatient clinics. One boy and a girl, both aged five, were admitted to Yan Chai and Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospitals on June 15 and have been discharged.
