أكد الدكتور مجدى حزين، مدير عام الطب الوقائى ببنى سويف، أن نتيجة العينات التى وصلت من معامل وزارة الصحة للطالب "بكرى حسن بكرى" (13 سنة) إيجابية، والذى يتلقى تعليمه فى مدرسة "كيو 4" بإنجلترا.
وأشار حزين إلى أنه كان قد تم احتجاز الطالب وعزله مع أفراد أسرته بمستشفى الصدر ببنى سويف، لأخذ عينات منهم وإرسالها لمعامل وزارة الصحة للتأكد من خلوهم من مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير.
وأفاد مدير الطب الوقائى، أن الطالب كان قد عاد من إنجلترا، وأنه شعر بسخونة شديدة، وتم نقله لمستشفى الصدر. أضاف أن الطالب استجاب لعقار التاميفلو وأصبحت حالته طبيعية، وتم التأكد من خلو أقاربه من أنفلونزا الخنازير.
