based on what i can tell from looking at the moh reports, the last reported case that was added was 1 case on 6-27-09 which resulted in the current total of 28 suspect cases, no deaths shown thru the 30th of june

نفى الدكتور عادل عباس، مدير عام الطب البيطرى فى السويس، وجود أى حالات وفاة بأنفلونزا الطيور، مؤكدا أنها شائعات لا أساس لها من الصحة. فيما أكدت دكتورة آمال الراعى مدير إدارة الطب الوقائى، بأن ما يتردد مجرد شائعات ولم يتلق مستشفى حميات السويس أى حالات اشتباه بأنفلونزا الطيور أو الخنازير.

وكانت معلومات ترددت عن وفاة الطفل حسام الدين مصطفى، البالغ من العمر سنة و3 أشهر بأنفلونزا الطيور، بعد احتجازه بمستشفى حميات السويس.

شهدت مديرية الصحة بالسويس ارتباكا شديدا بعد كشف اليوم السابع عن وفاة طفل بأنفلونزا الطيور بالمستندات، رغم حالة التكتم الشديدة من المسئولين وقرر اللواء محمد سيف الدين جلال محافظ السويس تكليف اللواء محمد نافع رئيس حى الجناين، التحقيق فى الواقعة وقيام مسئولى الطب الوقائى بالقيام بالكشف على أفراد أسره الطفل والحصول على مسحات منهم لبيان إصابتهم من عدمه والبحث عن أى طيور بالمنزل.

طالب نائب الإخوان المسلمين عباس عبد العزيز، بضرورة محاسبة كل مسئول عن إزهاق الأبرياء من أطفال الشعب المصرى، وأشار النائب فى سؤال تقدم به لى وزير الصحة إلى أن يد الإهمال قتلت طفلاً مصاباً بأنفلونزا الطيور بالسويس.

وأضاف، أن الطفل حسام الدين محمد أحضره أهله إلى مستشفى السويس العام فى تمام الساعة 2.25 ظهراً مصحوباً بارتفاع فى درجة الحرارة وتشنجات، وتم تشخيص حالة الطفل على أنها اشتباه بالإصابة بأنفلونزا الطيور، وتم تحويله إلى مستشفى الحميات، إلا أن المستشفى رفض استقباله، وتمت إعادته مرة أخرى إلى مستشفى السويس العام ودخل إلى قسم الاستقبال باطنة بتذكرة عرض فى تمام الساعة الثانية عشرة مساءً وأثناء ذهاب الطفل للعرض على طبيب الأطفال بقسم الأطفال توفى فى الطريق وقام أهله بأخذه إلى المنزل دون رؤية الطبيب له.

وأشار النائب إلى أن هذه الحادثة هى أكبر دليل على مدى إهمال المسئولين، والذين يدعون ليلاً ونهاراً أنه كله تمام، وطالب فوراً بمحاسبة كل مسئول عن إزهاق روح هذا الطفل، الذى قتلته يد الإهمال وتم تركه لساعات طويلة دون تلقى العلاج.
