في إطار مجهوداتها لمحاولة حصر مرض أنفلونزا الطيور، قامت مستشفيات ( حميات المنيا- حميات دمنهور - الصدر بالمنصورة- حميات طنطا- حميات دمياط) باحتجاز عشرين حالة جديدة يشتبه في إصابتها بالمرض، حيث أعلن الدكتور "محمد أيمن رجب" وكيل وزاره الصحة بالمنيا، أنه تم احتجاز (3 أشقاء) للاشتباه في إصابتهم بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور بمستشفى حميات المنيا، كما صرح الدكتور "يسرى مبروك" وكيل وزارة الصحة بالبحيرة، أن مستشفى حميات دمنهور قد احتجزت (6 حالات) للاشتباه في إصابتهم بالمرض.

وفى الدقهلية احتجزت مستشفى الصدر بالمنصورة صباح اليوم ( 3 حالات ) أخرى للاشتباه في إصابتهم بالمرض ، وتم أخذ عينات ومسحات من الحلق لإرسالها لمعامل وزارة الصحة .
