The village of Toukh Tanbasha, which is affiliated with the Berket El-Saba Center in the Menoufia Governorate, witnessed the death of 2,000 chickens, after the farm building collapsed on them.
Major General Hazem Sami, Director of Menoufia Security, received a notification from the Sheriff of the Birket El-Saba Police Station stating that a poultry farm roofed with timber had collapsed. The necessary legal measures were taken regarding the incident, and the necessary report was issued on the incident.
A number of eyewitnesses told Cairo 24 that the accident started with the collapse of one wall of the farm and spread to the rest of the farm, and fell on the poultry inside, which resulted in the death of nearly 2,000 chickens.
The farm extended to an area of 4 and a half carats, and the security and concerned services took the necessary legal measures regarding the incident and counted the damages inside the poultry farm located in the village of Toukh Tanbasha of the Birket al-Sabaa Center.
In another context, Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar Gomaa, Minister of Endowments, and Major General Ibrahim Abu Lemon, Governor of Menoufia, inspected the sukuk meat cars and distributed the twenty-fifth batch of 2 tons of endowment meat, bringing the total distributed to 49 tons of endowment sukuk in Menoufia Governorate.
The Minister of Endowments confirmed that 2 tons of food bonds are being distributed today, in addition to the 2 tons that were previously distributed last week, bringing what was distributed in Menoufia Governorate this year to 49 tons.
