وطالب الدكتور مصطفى بسطامي عميد كلية الطب البيطري جامعة القاهرة بضرورة عزل الفيروس الموجود حاليًّا بالطيور، وتشكيل فريق بحثي فورًا لإنتاج لقاح متوافق مع العترة الجديدة، والبحث عن: هل تلك العترة واحدة أم أكثر، وإن كانت أكثر من واحدة، فهل هي متطابقة أم مختلفة؟

وحذر بسطامي من انفراد وزارة الصحة والزراعة باستيراد اللقاحات، مضيفًا أن اللقاحات المستوردة المستخدمة في تحصين الدواجن ضد إنفلونزا الطيور غير مطابقة للمواصفات القياسية، بالإضافة إلى ضآلة المادة الفعالة فيها"، مؤكدًا أن هناك استسهالاً حكوميًّا في التعامل مع الأزمة، وهو الذي دفع بالأمور لتلك الحالة

ProMed is not down as far as I can tell - the stoppage is on the 27th, next week. I'm also not sure that article will draw an immediate ProMed posting. It seems like all it talks about is some bad H5N1 poultry vaccines.

i recall reading some information that indicates one of the vaccines was for another strain of virus and does not work very well in Egypt they claim some of the chickens were given multiple doses over a period of months and they still contracted bird flu.

he blames the government directly for the current mutation in bird flu do to the use of bad vaccines he claims some of which were for the very first types of bird flu found in other countries. and was only purchased for the benefit of the business relationship of certain parties.

i recall a couple of weeks back the same person was making a fuss over a swine flu vaccine from Mexico i think in the end the shipment was refused. but I'm not positive on the refusal

To date, WHO has been informed of 115 laboratory-confirmed cases of human infection with new influenza A(H1N1) virus from eleven countries in the WHO Eastern Mediterranean Region. If globaly circulates dangerous vaccines for sell, where are the international controlers and screeners ...

Human vaccines must be subjected to more controls than the animal, but must we fear both the illness and the vaccine - what is the final goal of such vaccines than ...

أكد مركز معلومات مجلس الوزراء، أنه تم فحص 114 حالة اشتباه لمرض أنفلونزا H1N1)) A من محافظات "القاهرة، الجيزة، المنوفية، الإسماعيلية، أسيوط، البحيرة، المنيا، قنا، السويس، أسوان، دمياط، الدقهلية، الفيوم، الغربية، كفر الشيخ، القليوبية، سوهاج"، وجاءت النتائج المعملية جميعها سلبية، كما تم فحص 54 حالة اشتباه لمرض أنفلونزا الطيور من 15 محافظة، وجاءت جميع النتائج المعملية سلبية.

وأوصت غرفة العمليات المركزية للمجلس وزارة الإعلام بضرورة تحديد قائمة محددة من الخبراء والمتخصصين للحديث عن مرض أنفلونزا H1N1)) A، وذلك من خلال استضافتهم فى البرامج، فى ظل ما شهدته الساحة الإعلامية خلال الفترة الماضية من تداول الأحاديث بخصوص المرض وتداعياته من غير المتخصصين، على أن يتم تحديد هذه القائمة بالتنسيق مع الوزارات المعنية (الصحة، البيئة، الزراعة).

أما بشأن الجهات الإعلامية الأخرى "غير التابعة لوزارة الإعلام" فقد أوصت الغرفة بتبنى ميثاق شرف إعلامى للتعامل مع المرض، وبما لا يؤدى إلى خلق أو إثارة أى بلبلة لدى المواطنين.

وأكد عمرو قنديل وكيل وزارة الصحة للشئون الوقائية، أن مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير لا يمكن أن يعود لشخص كان أصيب به خلال فترة سابقة وتم علاجه منه، لأن الجسم بعد الإصابة يكون قد أخذ مناعة من هذا المرض.

وحذرت منظمة الصحة العالمية من الإفراط فى استخدام الدواء لوقاية المحيطين بالمصاب بمرض أنفلونزا (A(H1N1، وتؤكد المنظمة على ضرورة الاقتصار فى إعطاء الدواء على الدائرة الضيقة للأفراد المحيطين بالمصاب، خوفاً من أن يفقد الدواء فعاليته أو أن يكتسب الفيروس مقاومة ضده.

حذر الدكتور محمد حسام الدين أستاذ الميكروبولجى بمركز أبحاث التناسليات والفطريات، من حدوث تبادل جينى بين فيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير وفيروس الأنفلونزا العادية التى تنتشر بشكل كبير بين المصريين فى فصل الشتاء، وهو الأمر الذى يمثل خطورة كبيرة يجب الانتباه له من الآن، ومن الممكن أن ينتقل المرض من إنسان إلى آخر بشكل أسرع بسبب عملية التبادل.

وطلب حسام الدين بتشكيل مجلس أعلى لمقاومة الأوبئة وأنفلونزا الخنازير، خاصة أننا مقبلون على مرض الطاعون والحمى القلاعية، وفى ظل التخوف من ظهور حالات كوليرا، وهو ما أرجعه حسام الدين إلى التلوث الشديد فى البيئة وانتشار القمامة والمخلفات العضوية بشكل كبير.

وأكد أستاذ الميكروبولجى أن المركز بدأ يرصد بعض الطحالب التى بدأت تنشط بشكل كبير، وهى المجموعة المسماة بـ"الخضراء الزرقاوية"، وهى موجودة فى الألبان التى يشربها الناس، وأنه لم يتم التوصل حتى الآن إلى خطورة هذه الطحالب.
