BATON ROUGE ? Louisiana Emergency officials are warning residents of dangerous heat levels expected for much of the state over the next several days.
The Governor?s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness said heat indices will remain over 100 for extended periods of time. Recognizing heat-related medical problems is important if you are planning on attending an outdoor event for the Fourth of July holiday.
