    The director of the Institute of Civil Protection, Manuel Maza Sanchez, the state of Oaxaca reported that so far there are no reports of damage after the earthquake of 6.5 on the Richter scale recorded on Thursday morning.

    S?nchez Maza pointed out that 20 sensors were triggered seismic alert, because the motion was 6.5 degrees.

    He explained that this natural phenomenon is felt more intensely in regions of the Isthmus and Oaxacan Coast, to a lesser degree in the Mixteca, and Central Valleys.

    Oaxaca state populations have been monitored by the protection system but up to now have reports of damage.

      Oaxaca, Oax .- A strong earthquake was recorded this morning at around 8:18 pm, which was preliminarily located the epicenter of Chiapas and Veracruz.

      The intensity was 6.7 degrees on the Richter scale and was felt in most of the state of Oaxaca, and in this capital, many people took to the streets for fear it caused.
