Roh calls off schedule due to flu
President Roh Moo-hyun has canceled an official schedule for the day due to fatigue after a long overseas trip and a severe cold, Cheong Wa Dae said yesterday. It is the first time the president has canceled an official schedule due to health reasons since his inauguration in 2003.
The president was scheduled to hold a briefing session on accomplishments of the new regional business plans and a luncheon meeting with farmers in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, yesterday.
Other ministers including Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Park Hong-soo and Sung Kyoung-ryung, head of the Presidential Committee on Balanced National Development, were present at the session as scheduled.
