    Health Bureau said, according to the Mainland health authorities today (December 11) Bulletin, the new six cases of human infection with H7N9 avian influenza. Region 6 cases of patients distributed as follows: one case in Anhui, Hunan Province three cases, one case of Guangdong, Zhejiang Province, one case; there were three cases of clear contact with live birds, domestic poultry or live bird markets exposure, patients aged 1-74 years, 3 males and 3 females; no deaths, two were serious and four mild.


    Since 2013 to date, a total of at least 685 cases of confirmed human infection with H7N9 avian influenza cases, including at least 235 cases of death. Area local infections occur since September 2015 include: Zhejiang, Guangdong, Anhui and Hunan.

    Health Bureau said that it will continue and the country and neighboring areas in the health sector, World Health Organization keep in close contact, monitoring of the situation around and Macao, and through cross-sector and public-private partnerships for the neighborhood or Macau once bird flu do occur Good prevention and preparedness.     Most likely includes 2 cases which one was previously known from Guangdong 74yo and a new Zhejiang 60yo reported today by the CHP.

    I have no idea what health bulletin this report is referring to. Yesterday the NHFPC of China reported 2 H7N9 cases and 2 cases of another strain avian flu (probably H5N1) for November here and here.

      Chinese mainland announced in 12/11 4 cases of H9N2 flu confirmed cases, between the ages of 1-15 years old, 3 female 1 male, date of onset is between April to October this year, were living in Anhui, Hunan, are mild, he joined his family to a market to buy food, no live poultry remaining exposure or unknown.
