Confirmed by the National Avian Influenza Reference Laboratory, an epidemic of wild fowl H5 subtype highly pathogenic avian influenza occurred in Gangcha County, Haibei Prefecture, Qinghai Province and Gonghe County, Hainan Prefecture . 275 fishing gulls and other wild birds died . After the outbreak, the local government immediately carried out standardized treatment in accordance with the requirements of relevant emergency plans, and carried out monitoring and inspection of surrounding poultry. No abnormalities in poultry were found.
