Hospital restricting visitors due to outbreak
MIDLAND ? Visitors to Georgian Bay General Hospital will have to take extra precautions if visiting a patient at the Midland site.
A respiratory outbreak on the 1 North long-term-care unit means only one visitor per patient will be allowed. As well, they are being asked to visit only one patient to help reduce the risk of spreading the illness.
