- The investigation team from the National Veterinary Research Institute (NaVRI) of the Department of Animal Health and Production (DAHP) conducted an investigation in the infected villages and carried out poultry mortality survey around infected villages from 21-31 July 2011.
- During the outbreaks the team from provincial and central level did culling of poultry, a total of 480 heads (22 ducks and 458 chickens)of poultry were culled.
