H1N1 Flu Vaccine Now Available to Everyone in Korea
The long-awaited vaccine for the H1N1 flu is now available to anyone in Korea including foreigners, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Family Affairs announced. It was previously available only to high-risk groups.
Vaccinations have been conducted in designated hospitals across the nation since Friday for W15,000 (US$1=W1,161).
The Ministry urged people to get immunized, saying that although the number of patients is on the downturn, the possibility of the virus spreading still remains with about 500 cases being reported daily.
