KLANG: Two schoolchildren from Kuala Kubu Baru have tested positive for H1N1.
According to sources, the two children, who were from a Tamil school, were among six people admitted to the Kuala Kubu Baru district hospital with influenza-like illness.
Health Ministry disease control director Dr Lokman Hakim Sulai*man confirmed that the Selangor Health Department had reported a H1N1 cluster in Kuala Kubu Baru. He declined to comment further.
Kuala Kubu Baru assemblyman Wong Koon Mun, who visited the six in hospital, said their condition was stable.
?They appeared to be only mildly infected and I was told they were not in danger of becoming worse,? he said.
Sources also claimed that an adult, who is in serious condition, had been transferred to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital.
