Over 100 people in Hokkaido town to sue state over hepatitis C

SAPPORO (Kyodo) -- More than 100 people are set to sue the central government, possibly next January, for damages of 3 million yen per head over hepatitis C infections at two clinics in a Hokkaido town, claiming that the state neglected to properly oversee the disinfection of injection needles, their lawyers said Monday.
