Last July , broiler supply was 67.28 million, a decrease of 6.2% compared to the previous year, and wholesale and consumer prices remained 9.3% and 12.0% higher than the previous year, respectively .

** Tariff allocation : 60,000 tons introduced in the first half / 30,000 tons in the second half (29,800 tons recommended , 29,646 tons cleared on August 14 )
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs imports about 5 million eggs from the Netherlands from August 17 through Harim and Dongwoo Farm to Table, and supplies about 4 million hatched chicks to farmhouses . Considering the breeding period , broilers will be on the market from October will be supplied to The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs partially subsidizes the difference between the domestic chick price and the cost of producing chicks hatched after importing eggs .
The government plans to keep a close eye on the chicken supply and demand situation and strive to stabilize chicken prices in various ways, such as additional imports of eggs and expansion of quota tariffs .
