年節後，彰化芳苑鄉一處蛋雞場又發生H5N2低病原性禽流感疫情，縣府動物防疫所強化監控後，雖然死亡率沒 有異常攀升，卻一再檢測出禽流感病毒過度活躍，還是斷然先將同棟一千多隻蛋雞採取預防性撲殺淘汰，全場雞隻 與雞蛋都先行管控。
