GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Three birds have tested positive for West Nile Virus in Grand Traverse County, according to the Grand Traverse County Health Department.

This comes after three other birds tested positive for potentially fatal mosquito-borne illnesses.

The health department said they were notified by the DNR that a hawk, blue jay and owl tested positive for the disease. ...
