Covid 2019 in Senegal: "The patient arrived in the country on February 26, 2020. He tested positive for Coronavirus"

In front of the press, the Minister of Health and Social Action Abdoulaye Diouf SARR confirms that Senegal recorded on Monday its first confirmed case of coronavirus.
According to the Minister of Health "it was Friday 28 that the health services were alerted by a private health structure to a case of a patient of French nationality who presented with the symptoms of coronavirus. Immediately, the services of the Ministry of Health went to the scene to find out. Immediately, he was transported to Fann Hospital. Tests have been done by scientists at the Pasteur Institute in Dakar and they have been found to be positive. Her father and two children are under quarantine for the time being. The current condition of the patient is not of concern at the moment and we have alerted the World Health Organization (WHO) as the procedure requires. We call on citizens not to panic but to put in place preventive measures to protect themselves.
